About the event
The CITES COPs are fundamental to regulating the international wildlife trade and critical to the survival of animal and plant species worldwide. The 19th CoP to be held in Panama later this year will be no different. In the lead-up to this important meeting, committed CITES experts, organisations and individuals invested in the implementation of the Convention, have come together to present an all-encompassing webinar.
Featuring 11 speakers from across the globe including former CITES Secretary General John E. Scanlon AO, the webinar will guide listeners through all aspects of CITES and what to expect for CoP19. Covering legal issues, trade issues, working documents, how CoPs work, captive breeding, zoonotic disease emergence, stockpile issues and much more.
