State of the Antarctic virtual gathering

These are a few sound bites from our State of the Antarctic virtual gathering, which I was delighted to host on February 3.

State of the Antarctic has become not only an annual report to our 60 South Society, but a valued conversation among friends of the Antarctic. It’s a chance to reflect, to learn and share, and to get inspired for future conservation victories.

This year we enjoyed hearing from ASOC co-founder Jim Barnes, who shared his decades-long experiences in the fight to save Antarctica. Jim’s perspective on what has changed since the earliest days of this movement – and what remains true – made this conversation extra special.

I invite you to watch the recording here.

Together, let’s keep aiming as high as we possibly can!

With you to save Earth’s last great wilderness,
