The IUCN U.S. National Committee (USNC) was proposed in 2016 and officially began at its inaugural meeting in June of 2017. Since that time, our Executive Committee and members have been active across the U.S. and the globe. Although 2020 has proved to be a challenging year, to say the least, the IUCN U.S. National Committee continues to evolve, grow its membership, and find new ways to implement its mission. U.S. members have been active in preparation for the Marseille Congress and the online forums.
We are confident that 2021 will bring more opportunities and look forward to engaging all U.S. IUCN members to advance the conservation of nature and contribute to IUCN.
