USAID Climate Strategy Now Out for Public Comment


Climatelinks is pleased to announce that the draft of the USAID’s 2022-2030 Climate Strategy is now available for public review and feedback. The public comment period is open to all - any individual or group may submit feedback. The deadline to submit comments is 5:00 PM EST on November 24, 2021. Only comments submitted via the form on this page will be accepted.


USAID encourages input from diverse perspectives to meet the strategy’s goal of accelerating and scaling equitable, resilient, and ambitious actions to address the climate crisis. About the Strategy:


On Earth Day 2021, USAID announced its commitment to develop a new Agency climate strategy. The strategy will guide the Agency’s efforts to target climate change resources strategically, ramp up climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts, and further integrate climate change considerations into international development and humanitarian assistance programs across all sectors.
